I couldn’t disagree more. It is, in fact, very important we have politicians who are prepared and have the experience to solve the critical issues facing Arizona today.  We are far behind the nation in providing quality education and affordable health coverage to our citizens, crime continues to be a serious problem, and the lack of a secure border is straining our limited state resources.  These factors and others keep high paying employers from moving to Arizona which further impacts our ability to raise the increasing amount of revenue needed to fund our initiatives, infrastructure, and services for our citizens.  My 34 years of military, law enforcement, and business experience has prepared me to recognize, understand and confront the factors that cause these problems as well as providing me the skills to eliminate bureaucratic waste and maximize the value of our tax dollars.  I will also use my experience to help grow the state revenue and nurture new business.  I believe that these issues confronting Arizona cross party lines and I will work closely with my peers to find and implement solutions.  I’ve served my country and community before and I want you to give me the chance to serve again by voting for me to be your state senator.
